STRATEGY · 3 PHASES

How this build plays

Autumn Willow’s land-creature token ties creature entries to landfall and mana. This prospective list revisits that entry, broadens the land-creature plan with Ashaya and builds toward a large trampling attack.

  1. 01SET THE STAGE

    Revisit the forest’s arrival

Conjurer’s Closet can blink Autumn Willow at your end step. Each return makes another Forest Dryad land creature token, triggering Tireless Provisioner to make your choice of Food or Treasure. These land creatures still obey summoning sickness before tapping for mana.

    Autumn Willow, Harmony

Hexproof When Autumn Willow enters, create a 1/1 green Forest Dryad land creature token. (It's affected by summoning sickness.) Whenever you tap a land creature for mana, add an additional {G}.

    Conjurer's Closet

At the beginning of your end step, you may exile target creature you control, then return that card to the battlefield under your control.

    Tireless Provisioner

Landfall — Whenever a land you control enters, create a Food token or a Treasure token. (Food is an artifact with "{2}, {T}, Sacrifice this token: You gain 3 life." Treasure is an artifact with "{T}, Sacrifice this token: Add one mana of any color.")

  2. 02BUILD THE ENGINE

The creatures become the mana base

Ashaya makes your nontoken creatures into Forest lands as well as creatures. Tapping those land creatures for mana with Autumn Willow present produces an additional green mana. Newly controlled creatures still cannot use tap abilities without haste, even though they are also lands.

    Ashaya, Soul of the Wild

Ashaya's power and toughness are each equal to the number of lands you control. Nontoken creatures you control are Forest lands in addition to their other types. (They're still affected by summoning sickness.)

  3. 03CARRY IT THROUGH

    Turn the landfall army sideways

Avenger of Zendikar makes Plants and adds counters to them when more lands enter, including Autumn Willow’s Forest tokens. Overwhelming Stampede uses your largest creature’s power to strengthen the whole army and grant trample. Build bodies first; the spell does not supply haste.

    Overwhelming Stampede

Until end of turn, creatures you control gain trample and get +X/+X, where X is the greatest power among creatures you control.

Commander Bracket Assessment

Rules-Based Bracket: No raised minimumEstimated Power Bracket: High 3

Based on the 100-card main deck; sideboard excluded. The Rules-Based Bracket is the lowest bracket this card list allows under Commander bracket rules. The Estimated Power Bracket is a personal estimate of how strongly the deck plays. It is not an official rating.

Evidence and limitations

Rules-Based Bracket · minimum

  • No raised minimum found in the checked restrictions. This does not establish Exhibition intent, Core fit or absence of every possible combo.

Exact Game Changers: None.

Mass land denial registry: None identified in the checked registry. Modal or repeated-land targeting still requires a pregame discussion.

Your extra-turn cards: None identified in the checked registry. Opponent turns from Emrakul or gifts are not counted as your own chain.

Confirmed early two-card lethal or turn-chain flags are not inferred from keywords. This is a lower bound, not a complete combo solver or permission to delay a consistently early line until turn seven. Agreed Rule Zero / Exhibition exceptions are outside this ordinary-restriction check.

Estimated Power Bracket · High 3

Estimated from the card list alone, not from tracked win rates or game results.

Land creatures, repeat entries and ordinary land ramp scale mana and bodies. Terastodon plus repeat blink can target lands, so destructive targeting intent must be discussed rather than silently treated as harmless.

Assembly and timing: Several five-mana engines and later attacks precede the ordinary finish. No early cheap two-card win is verified; intentional repeated mass land denial would instead require a higher structural floor.

Recovery and constraints: Creature/value redundancy helps rebuild, but turning creatures into lands can expose the board to overlapping removal. Tutor coverage is not universal.

Curve: 3.70 average nonland mana value. Cheap mana/land-search text: Lotus Cobra · Sakura-Tribe Elder · Nature's Lore · Three Visits · Sol Ring. This text-derived reading aid is not an official score.

Search-library evidence: Sword of Hearth and Home · Nissa, Who Shakes the World · Sakura-Tribe Elder · Wood Elves · Springbloom Druid · Cultivate · Kodama's Reach · Nature's Lore · Three Visits · Skyshroud Claim · Blighted Woodland. This includes restricted and land searches; efficient tutor overlap is reviewed separately above. There is no official tutor-count cap.

Fast mana indicators: Sol Ring. Conditional free interaction: None identified in the checked registry. Conditions and resource costs still apply.

Key cards: Autumn Willow, Harmony · Ashaya, Soul of the Wild · Conjurer's Closet · Terastodon.
