How this build plays

The Original list spreads its bets across top-of-library control, shared draw and expensive colorless threats. Prepare a nonland card, make it the first draw of a turn, then use Molecule Man’s miracle permission to cast it for zero.

  1. 01SET THE STAGE

    Put the spectacle on top

Scroll Rack moves cards from hand onto the library, but putting new cards into hand is not drawing them. Set up a threat with the Rack, then use Temple Bell for your first draw of that turn with Molecule Man in play. Reveal the card as you draw it to use miracle.

    Molecule Man

Nonland cards in your hand have miracle {0}. (You may cast a card for its miracle cost when you draw it if it's the first card you drew this turn.)

    Scroll Rack

{1}, {T}: Exile any number of cards from your hand face down. Put that many cards from the top of your library into your hand. Then look at the exiled cards and put them on top of your library in any order.

    Temple Bell

{T}: Each player draws a card.

  2. 02BUILD THE ENGINE

Find a draw on their turn

Unwinding Clock untaps Temple Bell on opposing untap steps, giving you more turns on which to attempt a first-draw miracle. Each Bell activation also gives opponents a card. Check whether you have already drawn that turn; a second draw cannot qualify.

    Unwinding Clock

Untap all artifacts you control during each other player's untap step.

    Temple Bell

{T}: Each player draws a card.

  3. 03CARRY IT THROUGH

Cast the threat, keep its cast trigger

Miracle still casts Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, so its cast trigger can exile two permanents even though the mana cost was not paid. Emrakul, the Promised End likewise supplies its cast-triggered turn control. These are distinct threats, and Emrakul gives that opponent an extra turn afterward.

    Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger

When you cast this spell, exile two target permanents. Indestructible Whenever Ulamog attacks, defending player exiles the top twenty cards of their library.

    Emrakul, the Promised End

This spell costs {1} less to cast for each card type among cards in your graveyard. When you cast this spell, you gain control of target opponent during that player's next turn. After that turn, that player takes an extra turn. Flying, trample, protection from instants

Commander Bracket Assessment

Rules-Based Bracket: 3 minimumEstimated Power Bracket: Mid 3–High 3

Based on the 100-card main deck; sideboard excluded. The Rules-Based Bracket is the lowest bracket this card list allows under Commander bracket rules. The Estimated Power Bracket is a personal estimate of how strongly the deck plays. It is not an official rating.

Evidence and limitations

Rules-Based Bracket · minimum

  • 1 Game Changer: excluded from ordinary Brackets 1 and 2.

Exact Game Changers: 1× The One Ring.

Mass land denial registry: None identified in the checked registry. Modal or repeated-land targeting still requires a pregame discussion.

Your extra-turn cards: None identified in the checked registry. Opponent turns from Emrakul or gifts are not counted as your own chain.

Confirmed early two-card lethal or turn-chain flags are not inferred from keywords. This is a lower bound, not a complete combo solver or permission to delay a consistently early line until turn seven. Agreed Rule Zero / Exhibition exceptions are outside this ordinary-restriction check.

Estimated Power Bracket · Mid 3–High 3

Estimated from the card list alone, not from tracked win rates or game results.

Top-deck manipulation and repeated shared draws enable miracle threats, but the six-mana commander and expensive curve create a setup cost. Several draw effects help opponents.

Assembly and timing: Casting a threat for zero still requires a qualifying first draw with Molecule Man available. Emrakul gives its targeted opponent an extra turn; it is not evidence of your own turn chain.

Recovery and constraints: Utility artifacts recover cards and mana, but removal of the commander can leave expensive threats waiting for normal casting.

Curve: 4.45 average nonland mana value. Cheap mana/land-search text: Kozilek's Command · Liquimetal Torque · Mind Stone · Sol Ring · Thought Vessel · Warping Wail · Wayfarer's Bauble. This text-derived reading aid is not an official score.

Search-library evidence: Demolition Field · Expedition Map · Eye of Ugin · Inventors' Fair · Solemn Simulacrum · Ugin, Eye of the Storms · Urza's Cave · Wayfarer's Bauble. This includes restricted and land searches; efficient tutor overlap is reviewed separately above. There is no official tutor-count cap.

Fast mana indicators: Sol Ring. Conditional free interaction: None identified in the checked registry. Conditions and resource costs still apply.

Key cards: Molecule Man · Scroll Rack · Temple Bell · Unwinding Clock · Emrakul, the Promised End.
